Shiromi Arunathileka

Shiromi Arunatileka is a Lecturer from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka currently reading for her PhD at the University of Western Sydney, Australia. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka with a Second Class (Upper Division). She did her MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. Shiromi does extensive research in the areas of eTranaformation for Competitive Advantage, eBusiness models, eMarketing, Virtual Organisations, eTransformation for SMEs, etc. She has developed the Seven E in eTransformation - A Strategic eTransformation Model which has been tried and tested successfully with SMEs. She has published a number of papers in this area and has been involved in many IT related consultancy projects since 1994. At present, she is lecturing IT for Virtual Organisations and involved in the project eTransforming Western Sydney lead by the AeIMS research center.
