This series of web pages explains the invention of Internet and Web from various angles (crossroads), from early development of "basic communication systems" to "Protocols and hypertext languages inventions" and how people recognise this new technology from a political point of view. This site is light reading with a touch of humour yet very informative, carrying minutiae such as messages written to each other by the people who are responsible for the birth of the Internet and Web.

This Web Site gives information on a timeline spaning from 1945 -1995 to explain how various inventions of technologies, actions of people and organisations, etc. have facilitated birth of the best invention in 20th Century: “World Wide Web”.
